Scope: 1) To provide complete design and engineering solutions for HPCL CCR-Revamp Project till approval of the design. 2) Perform FEA as per project specification and code rules. 3) Detail Fabrication drawing preparation. 4) Lifting Scheme Drawing. The design was performed as per ASME SEC VIII Div 1 and project specification requirements for equipment like dust collector and nitrogen header using PV-Elite software. FEA was performed for nozzles beyond the limit of WRC 107/297 using ANSYS software by using ASME SEC VIII Div 2 Part 5 guidelines and SEC VIII Div 1 allowable. GA and detail fabrication drawings were prepared based on the design output. Lifting scheme drawing was prepared, and selection of D-Shackle and rope for the lifting of the equipment was done as per good engineering practice.
Benchmark: The equipment was U stamp, so all the documentation were approved without difficulties and with utmost client satisfaction.
